The Rotaract Club of Luxembourg is pleased to announce that Mrs Amal Choury who was nominated Woman Business Manager of the year 2010 by Dexia will be giving a presentation about her career and her experience as a female business manager on September 13.Amal Choury is a member of the Rotary Club Luxembourg Schuman to which she donated half of the 10,000EUR that came with the award.It will for sure be an inspiring talk and hopefully many of you will be able to attend. On Thursday 26 May 2011 at 19h00 we will be joining our friends at the Foyer Sainte-Antoine (30 Route d'Arlon, L-1140 Luxembourg) for a barbecue. On 24 May 2011 at 19h00, we will be meeting at 1, Rue Robert Stumper at the Cloche d'Or for a guided tour of the fire station. This was supposed to happen two weeks ago, but because not many people could make it and we think that it will be a really interesting evening, we postponed it until this week! Rotary Echternach have invited us to join them in their visit to La Provençale this Saturday 14 May. The tour starts at 7am - an early start, but well worth it as that is when all the interesting things are going on apparently... If you would like to participate, please contact us.

We are holding a meeting at 19h30 on Tuesday 10 May at Les Dolmens in the city centre.We are happy to welcome some Luxembourgish firefighters to the meeting to talk to us about their work.It will certainly be a very interesting evening. If you wish to come along, please contact us.

On April 10 at 13h30, Rotaract will be taking individuals from the refugee centre the Foyer St Antoine to play billiards at the Q45 billiard place in Utopolis.

The aim of the project is to help integrate the refugees into life in Luxembourg and have fun!
